Based in the beautiful Hudson Valley region of New York State, EP Solutions is a team of healthcare oriented emergency preparedness and environment of care professionals who understand the need for healthcare organizations to be prepared for ANY emergency, happening at ANY time. Events such as September 11th, anthrax scares, summer and winter super-storms, school and hospital shootings, major traffic incidents, the H1N1 pandemic, and the Boston Marathon bombing; all demonstrate that healthcare organizations are not immune from disaster related events. What events like these show is that organizations must have in place a “Ready Every Day” culture of preparedness; one that allows it to react on a moment’s notice in order to protect patients, staff, visitors, and its community.

In recent years, The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory agencies such as Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Department of Health (DOH) have elevated the Emergency Management (EM) standards to be on even par with the Environment of Care (EOC) and Life Safety (LS) requirements for healthcare organizations.
